Yeah I give Killing Floor a massive recommendation; really fun game, especially if you have friends who play it.
Bought Half-Life 1 & 2 - I'd never played them before, don't mock me! - for about £3.50. Been well worth it.
Love sales!
The PS3 logo at the end of your post is a bit sad.
I'll take anything I can get at the moment regarding Skyrim details. Hopefully someone can shed light on any new juicy info once the issues start to ship - I've heard that subscribers have their copies already?
On a side-note, I started playing Oblivion again today. It's actually aged rather well - seems a bit silly saying 'aged', seeing as it was released on this current generation of consoles! It's still a looker though in my opinion. :)
I think some people have forgotten the meaning of the word 'parody'.
I think it's because the world you interact with in Oblivion is a lot more compelling than in Fallout 3, even despite the lack of variation. At least that's how it felt to me.
Oblivion is my favourite RPG this gen and quite possibly of all time, so to say I'm excited for this would be a ridiculous understatement, haha. :D
Like your mum more like.
I say fair play for them delaying it, rather than simply racing with themselves to remove as many bugs as they can before the date and then releasing an unpolished product.
You should read the Edge review of PES 2011 to get a more realistic view of the game. IGN have been PES fanboys for a very, very long time.
You can disagree all you want darlings. It's essentially a fact.
It's a shame that this was reviewed by a Castlevania fanboy, as opposed to someone with a good understanding of the hack 'n' slash genre - or, you know, GAMES IN GENERAL.
It pretty much read like: 'Well the music is great, the combat is great, the voice acting is great, the graphics are great... BUT IT ISN'T THE OLD 2D CASTLEVANIA GAMES WAHHHHH!' So what? That was 10-15 years ago. Get over it.
Kind of ironic that this is slated for being unoriginal, and yet God of War 3 represents a recycled, stale iteration from its previous two games.
FIFA 11 is superior to FIFA 10 in practically every way, without a doubt. I find it laughable that anyone could think any different.
FIFA 10 was a great game, but it had way too many flaws. FIFA 11 is a much more refined experience, and is all the better for it.
It's a shame that people such as yourself are still stuck in the dark days, clinging onto the hope that PES will be what it once was.
I was a huge fan of PES back in the day - as big as you could get, really - and I still believe that PES 5 and 6 are the best football games of all time. But I played the PES 2011 demo and deleted it after two games, because it's just horrible. Passing is decent, but that's about it; the player movement still borders on robotic, sho...
PS1/PS2 - PES by far
360/PS3 - FIFA by far
I can't see that changing until the next generation of consoles.
Does anyone know when the demo is available through Xbox Live? Someone told me it was today, but I see nothing. Wahhh!
None of what you said makes any sense at all.
PES 2011 has an average score of around 7.9; FIFA 11's is around 9.4. I'd say that's about right in terms of the gulf in quality between the two titles.
I guess this article is the equivalent of porn for the dozens of N4PS3 fanboys, eh?
The number of agrees on certain comments certainly makes it seem that way.
Bungie really outdid themselves with the easter eggs in Reach.
My list would look more like this:
#5 - Halo: ODST
#4 - Halo 3
#3 - Halo 2
#2 - Halo: CE
#1 - Halo: Reach
Chill out man. They were just excited for the game and were having a bit of a laugh with Todd. Nothing wrong with that surely?
